​​We encourage exploration and solitude; less than hour away from San Antonio, fifteen minutes from “Cowboy Capital of Texas” Bandera, Boerne, Lake Medina,  and Helotes Texas. Sixteen Acres is available for hiking, exploring, or just relaxing and watching nature. Lots of wildlife, we have a live creek, a seasonal creek, and a pond on the property. We are also centrally located near all the hill country motorcycle routes. There are so many fun family activities close by!
WEDDINGS
An Outdoor Wedding is a modern and yet still elegant way to spice up your wedding. The outdoor ceremony area is spacious enough to fit a large family wedding, but also can be the perfect setting for a smaller, more intimate gathering.

MOTORCYCLE TOURS
The Hill Country is one of the most popular and most beautiful riding areas in the country. Scenic highways and back roads, a biker-friendly community and definitely heavy biker places to visit make this a Mecca for those who live to ride.
Al's Hideaway is not only Biker Friendly but we also ride, our park was built for Bikers by Bikers.

Bandera City Park
Bandera City Park is located in beautiful downtown Bandera. We offer fishing, swimming and picnic areas with BBQ pits.​

The Frontier Times Museum is the trusted resource center for learning, historical research and information for Bandera County residents and visitors
Bandera Natural Museum
Replicas of Dinosaurs, Ice Age animals, and educational play stations are located on the eight acre grounds.

Bandera General Store
The Bandera General Store building is 108 years old – built in 1907. It has the original wood floors and the original tin tile ceiling. It has been a saddle shop, a feed store, an appliance store (word has it caskets were sold in the basement and during prohibition the cowboys drank beer and played cards on the empty caskets ​
The OST
The Old Spanish Trail was used by the Conquistadors, who often followed routes established long ago by Native Americans.
The O.S.T. Restaurant has been serving the dining needs of Bandera since 1921, making it the oldest continuously operated restaurant in Bandera County. 
The Old Forge
The Old Forge serves only the choicest meats and seafood, freshest vegetables and their salad bar has only the freshest field greens and vegetables, made-from-scratch soups and baked potatoes. And don’t forget to try one of their fresh desserts
